Electronic Discovery Expert Sets Solid Foundation for ESI Consulting Practice

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kroll Ontrack®, the industry’s largest provider of electronic and paper-based document discovery and computer forensics services, today announced the appointment of Jeffrey J. Joyce as the new vice president of Ontrack® Consulting. Dedicated to Ontrack Consulting’s objective to help attorneys and corporations establish best practices for electronically stored information (ESI) for all stages of the information lifecycle and for the electronic discovery process, Joyce will lead the consulting practice.

In his role as vice president of Ontrack Consulting, Joyce will oversee and direct a team of IT and project specialists advising clients regarding data accessibility; discovery, data collection, and case management strategies; litigation readiness; litigation cost mitigation; and systematic process creation.

Joyce joins Kroll Ontrack from Jones Day, where he served as a partner in the Trial Practices section, member of the firm’s E-Discovery Committee, and speaker and author on the topic electronic discovery. In his seventeen-year tenure at Jones Day, Joyce litigated a wide variety of complex matters, including class actions, product liability, toxic and mass tort, securities, employment, fraud, contract, franchising, and trademark cases.
