FORT COLLINS, Colo.--()--July 25, 2006--

Heath Construction, General Contractor for the Girl Scouts' Magic Sky Ranch near Red Feather Lakes, Colo., Brings Another Superintendent with Large-Building Experience On-board

Heath Construction, a leading contractor for commercial and recreational buildings in the Rocky Mountain region, has been selected by Girl Scouts -- Mile Hi Council of Denver, Colo., to construct the new $6.5 million, multi-building Magic Sky Ranch. The 750-acre camp is located near Red Feather Lakes in the mountains northwest of Fort Collins, Colo.

According to Jean C. Jones, president and CEO of Girl Scouts -- Mile Hi Council: "We chose Heath Construction because they have a good reputation and worked with us to determine the most cost-effective way to achieve our goals. We also felt their staff was very aligned with our mission -- building girls of courage, confidence and character -- and they had a strong understanding of the value of Girl Scout camping."

Joining Heath's team of veteran construction superintendents, Scott Nelson will begin work as building superintendent for the Magic Sky Ranch. When completed later this year, the camp will be the largest outdoor resource for girls in the state.

"Scott has over 20 years of experience in commercial construction," said Randy DeMario, president of Heath Construction. "He has worked as construction superintendent on many large projects -- from K-Mart expansions to the University of Wisconsin remodels. Scott's proven ability to manage large and complex projects makes him a great match for Heath. We're growing fast and handling more multi-million-dollar projects every year."

Nelson will serve as a building superintendent at Magic Sky Ranch under Lead Superintendent Tom Niichel. The $6.5 million project involves construction of 11 new buildings for the camp, including a new dining hall, a sports center and an activity center.

Niichel says: "Magic Sky Ranch is a terrific project. We're all excited to see this camp come together. Given Scott's focus on family and kids, I know he will be thrilled to use his building experience for the Girl Scouts."
