Great-West Life & Annuity Selects TriZetto's NetworX Pricer Software to Automate Provider Contracts

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--()--Aug. 30, 2005--The TriZetto Group Inc. (NASDAQ: TZIX) has signed a software license agreement for NetworX Pricer(TM) with Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company, whose health care division, Great-West Healthcare, serves approximately 2 million members. The software automates the pricing of complex provider contracts, to improve first pass auto-adjudication rates and increase overall efficiency.

NetworX Pricer can help health plans address key market demands by providing technology to automate claims and other business processes.

"TriZetto's technology will work across our products and market segments," said Donna Goldin, senior vice president, healthcare operations at Great-West Healthcare. "Using NetworX Pricer, we can further improve our efficiency and accuracy in maintaining provider contract terms in our systems and then applying those contract terms to claims."

"Health plans can use NetworX Pricer to speed claims processing by eliminating the costs, potential errors and inconsistencies of pricing claims manually," said Jeff Hensley, senior vice president of TriZetto's software unit. "Our software can help these customers stay competitive by maximizing their productivity and efficiency."
