Nicky Hilton, the younger of the two famous hotel heiresses, has been making a name for herself as a handbag designer and special correspondent for E! Entertainment Television.
Now she has announced that she is teaming up with scunci(R), maker of the world-famous Scrunchie(TM) and scores of other hair accessories, brushes and grooming products.
In her relationship with scunci, Ms. Hilton will design new products, update existing ones and introduce a signature collection of lifestyle-oriented merchandise. This is in addition to creating trend setting new hairstyles for existing scunci products.
Nicky believes her tie-in with scunci is a natural next step in her desire to create trend setting products that reflect her unique take on fashion and design. She says, "I am very excited to lend my style and ideas to a product line I have been using all my life."
Most recently, Nicky has been designing handbags under the Samantha Thavasa New York by Nicky Hilton label. The sporty, but practical bags are big sellers at upscale retailers like Henri Bendel and Fred Segal. And they've been seen on the arms of such stars as Britney Spears, Tara Reid and Pamela Anderson.
Ms. Hilton has also served as on-air correspondent for the E! Cable Network and their coverage of such high profile events as The Golden Globes, The Academy Awards and The NBA All-Star Weekend.
