Genesis Securities Appoints Dave Whitmore as President of SogoTrade Deep Discount Brokerage

Former TD Ameritrade and Datek Online Senior Executive to Lead Deep Discount Brokerage

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Genesis Securities LLC., the NASDAQ Platinum Certified trading technology developer and self-clearing broker/dealer, has hired David D. Whitmore to be president of SogoTrade, a retail brokerage division launching on June 10. Whitmore has worked in the brokerage industry since the early 1980’s, most recently holding senior executive positions with TD Ameritrade and Datek Online.

In Whitmore’s recent position with TD Ameritrade he held several managing director positions responsible for client education, products and services and client product strategy. Prior to that, Whitmore served as senior vice president of customer experience of Datek Online and as vice president, director of training and a regional vice president at Waterhouse Securities.
