WRITER Appoints Brian O'Reilly as First Chief Operating Officer

O’Reilly will scale end-to-end customer journey as enterprise AI shifts from experimentation to mission-critical deployment

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WRITER, the leader in agentic AI for the enterprise, today announced the appointment of Brian O'Reilly as its first Chief Operating Officer. O’Reilly will lead the global cross-functional operations that underpin WRITER’s unified, end-to-end customer journey, from initial strategy to scaled adoption. His leadership will strengthen WRITER’s ability to execute with the speed, reliability, and enterprise rigor demanded by the world’s largest organizations as agentic AI moves into the center of work.

"Enterprises are moving fast on AI and what they need from partners is rapidly evolving,” said O'Reilly. “The global 2000 wants outcomes, governance, and long-term partnership, not just tools. That takes both purpose-built agentic solutions and operational excellence – exactly where WRITER thrives. My job is to scale our foundation so working with us is consistently high-impact and truly differentiated.”

O’Reilly is a proven operational leader with over a decade of experience driving zero-to-scale growth in C-level go-to-market roles. Since joining WRITER in 2024, he spearheaded the company’s international expansion, building a high-performing global organization and attracting top customers across financial services, retail, telecom, and pharma, including leaders like AstraZeneca, Currys, Vodafone, to name a few. Under his leadership, WRITER’s international team drove record ARR growth and established the operational frameworks required for repeatable enterprise scale. In his new role, O'Reilly will continue to oversee WRITER’s EMEA hub as site lead while scaling this operating model globally.

As enterprise AI deployments become more complex and embedded in core workflows, delivering impact requires tight coordination across every customer touchpoint. O’Reilly will lead the charge in scaling WRITER’s execution discipline, driving alignment across product, sales, marketing, and customer success to create a unified go-to-market function where WRITER's cutting-edge technology is paired with enterprise-grade delivery. This integrated model is designed to eliminate the friction of complex AI deployments, accelerate adoption across the WRITER platform, and ensure a seamless experience from initial commercial strategy through long-term value realization.

"Brian’s appointment formalizes a superpower that has long been part of our DNA – our ability to show up as a unified force for our customers," said May Habib, CEO and Co-founder of WRITER. "The COO role is critical to ensuring that every part of our organization is obsessed with what our customers achieve, not just what they buy. Brian is the exact leader to ensure WRITER's relentless commitment to value delivery remains our greatest competitive edge."

As enterprise demand accelerates, WRITER continued to invest across the entire customer journey, recently naming its first Chief Customer Officer to scale transformation and value realization, while introducing new capabilities to WRITER Agent, including Playbooks, Routines, and Connectors, that embed agentic AI directly into the systems where teams already work. O’Reilly will build on this momentum and continue driving the end-to-end value that sets WRITER apart.
