DXC Technology earns accolades for its neurodivergent hiring program

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Disability:IN, the global organization driving disability inclusion and equality in business, announced the Autism Inclusion Company of the Year award, sponsored by SAP for the second consecutive year. This year’s winner is DXC Technology, an information technology services and consulting company headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia.

DXT Technology is recognized for its work to enable sustainable, long-term careers in information and communications technology for neurodivergent people. DXC’s Dandelion Program helps neurodivergent people build necessary technical and life skills by developing their self-determination and self-advocacy; understanding of their sensory profile; understanding of their working and processing style; and building on their abilities, strengths and setting goals.

The Autism Inclusion Company of the Year award is part of Disability:IN’s annual Inclusion Awards program, which recognizes outstanding disability inclusion efforts by visionary brands and individuals from among Disability:IN’s more than 500 corporate partners in 12 categories. The awards are announced at Disability:IN’s annual conference, renowned as the global corporate disability inclusion event of the year.

"DXC Technology’s recognition of the immense talent within the neurodivergent community is demonstrated by their commitment to nurturing and advancing these skills, ensuring long-term, fulfilling IT careers," said Jill Houghton, President & CEO of Disability:IN.
