DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sunflower Bank, N.A. has donated a total of $101,703 to 139 K-12 schools and school systems that participated in its ABC Program for Education’s 2022-2023 school year campaign. In addition, the ABC Program’s “Pay for As” drawings throughout 2023 resulted in $23,380 in payments directly to students as a reward for academic achievements. Funds were distributed by local branches throughout October to participating schools and winning students. Since 2001, the ABC Program has donated over $1.7 million to support education in Sunflower Bank and First National 1870 communities.
“Sunflower Bank remains steadfast in our support of our communities. Helping fund K-12 education has always been a cornerstone of those efforts. We are proud of the $1.7 million we have contributed in direct funding to schools and students since 2001 through our ABC Program. This program exemplifies our commitment to fostering academic success in our youth through community partnerships,” said Mollie Carter, Sunflower Bank’s Executive Chairman.
