SurgNet Health Partners, Inc. Announces Initial Acquisitions, Executive Ambulatory Surgery Center and Lippy Surgery Center

Acquisitions set tone for rapidly growing ASC development and management company.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SurgNet Health Partners, Inc. (SurgNet), a Nashville-based Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) development and management company, announced the acquisitions of Executive Ambulatory Surgery Center and Lippy Surgery Center, within 45 days of funding.

“This represents a huge milestone for SurgNet,” said Chase Neal, Co-Founder and CEO. “We provide business and industry expertise for the centers, while giving our physician partners the freedom to do what they do best – take exceptional care of their patients.”

“This is just the beginning,” said President and COO John D. Brock. “Our partnership with these and other facilities will help maximize their success and shape the way patients and communities can seek and receive care.”

Neal and Brock, alongside SurgNet’s leadership team, combine more than a century of industry expertise with a sense of service and humility.

Executive Ambulatory Surgery Center (Dearborn, Michigan) provides a multitude of surgical services to patients in the community, without requiring extended hospitalization post-surgery. The deal closed September 20, 2023.

“Our relationship with SurgNet has been unlike any other business relationship. Their commitment to excellence in healthcare and service to patients and providers is evident in every interaction,” said Samer Suleiman, Administrator, Executive Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Lippy Surgery Center (Warren, Ohio) provides medical and surgical Otolaryngology services to pediatric and adult patients and Ophthalmology surgical services. The deal closed August 9, 2023.

“SurgNet was the right partner at the right time, offering decades of experience with a flexible partnership,” said Leonard Berenholz, M.D., F.A.C.S, Physician Partner at Lippy Surgery Center. “We know SurgNet will help us continue fulfilling our mission while powering healthy growth.”

Aimed at helping ASCs and physician partners realize their full business potential, SurgNet’s unique model leaves them poised to outpace an already-dynamic outpatient surgery market through acquisition, De Novo, and center management strategies, building on the momentum of these first two partnerships.
