Exactech Names Darin Johnson CEO

Jeffrey Binder remains Chairman of the Board

GAINESVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Exactech, a developer and producer of innovative implants, instrumentation, and smart technologies for joint replacement surgery, announced that Darin Johnson, current Exactech President, has been promoted to CEO. Johnson, who has served as interim CEO since March 2023, succeeds Jeffrey Binder, Chairman of Exactech’s Board of Directors.

Johnson joined Exactech in 2002 and has since held several executive-level leadership roles with the company. As President, Johnson oversaw all of Exactech’s business units, as well as its Human Resources and Information Technologies functions. Previously, he led the company’s Extremities business. Over his time at the company, Johnson has built and led cross-functional, global teams of orthopaedic surgeons, product managers, engineers, and sales professionals.
