SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, SirionLabs, global leader in AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM), announced the appointment of Sujay Rao as its first Chief Product Officer. This newly created role encompasses product strategy, product management and product marketing functions. Rao will oversee Sirion’s entire portfolio of authoring, performance and AI products.
Rao brings more than 25 years of experience in Product Management and the SaaS space to Sirion. He has an outstanding track record of building and growing Product organizations while bringing disruptive SaaS products and solutions to market.
Rao’s expertise will be instrumental in helping Sirion to develop and expand conversational contracting AI in its product capabilities, grow market share in the mid-market segment, and extend its product capabilities in adjacent areas of CLM, such as procurement and sales operations.
“Sujay’s track record and innovation at the intersection of SaaS and AI comes to us at a time when generative AI is reshaping the CLM category and accelerating advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning in ways that are helping enterprises solve their biggest contract data challenges,” said Ajay Agrawal, CEO and Founder of SirionLabs.
Prior to joining Sirion, Rao served as Chief Product Officer for Simpplr, a leading AI-powered employee experience platform. In this role, he grew out the company’s product portfolio and infused Generative AI, LLM models, Neural Search and NLP/NLU for content authoring, enterprise search and sentiment analysis. Previously, at Korn Ferry Digital he launched the Intelligence Cloud, an AI-powered talent intelligence platform that draws insights from external labor market data and internal workforce data to help large enterprises attract, engage and retain their talent.
“As the world becomes more connected through contracts, so does our data, making the relationships between both data and metadata matter more than ever,” said Rao. “Sirion enables organizations to find hidden relationships and patterns across billions of contract data connections. It’s why I’ve come to Sirion, and why our forward-looking customers have come to Sirion – because they believe these insights are foundational to how every modern enterprise should do business. We will continue to find new and better ways to leverage our industry-best AI expertise so we can deliver transformative digital and conversational contracting experiences to large and mid-market enterprises around the world. Coming off Sirion’s successful $110M Series D funding round in January, I strongly believe the company is well poised to deliver on our highly innovative product roadmap.”
Sirion has received widespread recognition as a leader in the CLM space. In addition to recently being named a Leader in 2023 IDC MarketScape for Buy-Side Contract Life-Cycle Management, the company is ranked as a Leader in the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contract Life Cycle Management and the 2021 Forrester Wave for CLM.
