Vendr Launches ‘Connect for a Cause’ Charity Auction, Bringing Entrepreneurs and Sellers Together with CEOs and Financial Leaders Across the Country

Proceeds will be donated to BUILD Boston, creating fair playing fields for urban teens

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vendr, the world’s first SaaS buying platform, today launched Connect for a Cause, a charity auction giving sellers and entrepreneurs the opportunity to bid on 60 minutes with CEOs and top financial leaders that are dedicated to helping winners level up their careers in 2023. 100% of the proceeds go to BUILD Boston to empower local youth.

The live auction features industry leaders from across the country––including Attentive CFO, Brandon Simins; Salsify CFO, Mary Jefts; Hubspot CFO, Kate Bueker, to name a few. These leaders are opening their doors to hear sellers’ stories, offering the next generation of leaders’ financial advice, business council, and the unique opportunity to pitch their products and solutions.

The auction will run, and bids will be accepted from January 17 – February 3, 2023, culminating in meetings between industry leaders and auction winners in February and March.

“Selling a great product in the current landscape is a challenge because the buyer-seller connection is broken. That’s why we’re focused on connecting buyers and sellers and creating a fair playing field,” said Ryan Neu, CEO + co-founder of Vendr. “I’m thrilled to be bringing this kind of equity not only to the SaaS industry, but to other aspiring leaders across the board. I believe that when you connect the right buyer to the right seller––or in this case, the right leaders with one another––it’s a win-win for both sides. Even better, it’s all going toward a great cause.”

Vendr is proud to partner with BUILD on the auction. Like Vendr, BUILD’s mission is to create fair playing fields. As an entrepreneurial organization working at the intersection of education innovation, racial equity, and community, BUILD is a nationally recognized leader in teaching self-agency and resilience, helping high school students to develop social capital, financial literacy, and valuable 21st Century skills. BUILD creates fair playing fields for urban teens regardless of race, socioeconomic status, or neighborhood.
