Combate a Fraude appoints Jason Howard as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), to drive global scale

Jason brings decades of experience and domain expertise to help scale and drive growth

VENÂNCIO AIRES, Brazil--()--CAF (formerly Combate à Fraude), a leader in digital identity verification, announced that it has appointed Jason Howard as the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). He will oversee all aspects of the company’s global go-to-market, sales and customer success, with a strategic focus on driving growth both in Brazil and internationally.

Prior to CAF, Jason served in the leadership team at Ethoca, the world's first collaborative fraud prevention network that was acquired by Mastercard. He was responsible for driving global revenue growth and customer success and he most recently served as the CEO of the business unit within Mastercard. In his role as the CRO, he will be reporting directly to Darryl Green and will drive CAF’s global expansion.

“I am delighted to welcome Jason to CAF to help us continue to scale up globally. He satisfies the key criteria that we were looking at when we started this search: Deep identity and fraud experience, proven record of building and scaling teams and expertise in driving revenue. Jason is the perfect partner for us as I look to grow CAF to be the leader in modern identity verification.”

Jason is known for his ability to scale businesses and create value for the ecosystem and build a customer obsessive revenue team. As an expert in both the identity and fraud spheres – he played a critical role in growing Ethoca to be a leader in the fraud prevention space by bringing together global leaders in the ecommerce space to collaborate and share insights to drive better commerce.

“I’m thrilled to be joining this team at such a pivotal time — not only in their journey, but the industry’s as well,” said Jason. “CAF’s flexible solutions, and its collaborative, customer-centric approach, set it apart from others who employ a ‘one-size-fits-all’ strategy to tackle the complex issues of identity verification and customer onboarding. Together with Darryl and our budding roster of talented staff, I’m excited to bring our suite of innovative solutions to businesses globally.”

As the company’s first CRO, Jason will draw from his unique experiences as industry veteran to guide CAF in its mission to enhance the digital customer onboarding experience, improve back office efficiencies, and help businesses reduce losses from identity fraud.
