IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In a move to further expand valuable services to its patient base, Lindora Wellness, Inc. announced today that it will begin to offer Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Lindora’s HRT Program will be led by Dr. Martha Wittenberg, MD who has been practicing Hormone Replacement Therapy since 2015.
“We’re very excited to offer these services because we know a lot of people struggle with hormone deficiencies. As we age, it’s very common for both women and men to see declines in hormone levels. These imbalances can often lead to a myriad of symptoms including anxiety, fatigue, decrease in libido, weight gain and sleeplessness. Hormone replacement therapy can help to address these symptoms and restore hormone levels to where they were when patients were younger,” said Dr. Wittenberg.
Dr. Wittenberg went on to say that Lindora’s HRT services will be available to anyone who qualifies and are not limited to current Lindora patients. The company will initially launch HRT services in their Orange County clinics and eventually work their way into their clinics in Los Angeles, Riverside and Ventura counties.
Lindora, who operates 33 medically based weight loss and wellness clinics in Southern California, has been a leader in weight loss and wellness for more than five decades. Over the last few years, the company has introduced a number of new, innovative wellness services including body composition analyses, body contouring and cryotherapy.
“Offering HRT was an easy decision for us to make, said John Tangredi, Lindora’s CEO. Certainly, we’ve seen the need across our existing patient base and we know that the need extends much further – the number of people suffering from the ill effects of hormone imbalance is substantial. Our specialty medical credentials and wellness expertise make us a natural place for patients to come for help.”
Dr. Wittenberg received her B.A. in Biology from Lehigh University and attended Drexel University in Philadelphia for her master’s degree in Public Health and her Medical Degree. She is a graduate of the University of Irvine’s Memorial Family Medicine residency program and is Board-certified in Family Medicine.
After being in traditional medicine for many years, Dr. Wittenberg pursued additional training in integrative medicine and hormone therapy. She is Board-certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Anti-aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. In addition to the Obesity Medicine Association, she is a member of the North American and International Menopause Societies.
