SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lyn Health, a pioneering healthcare start-up focused on people with multiple chronic conditions, today announced the addition of Jeb Dunkelberger, CEO of Sutter Health | Aetna, to its Board of Advisors.
Jeb Dunkelberger leads Sutter Health | Aetna, a jointly-owned healthcare company formed by Sutter Health and Aetna®, a CVS Health company. As CEO, Jeb is responsible for building and leading one of the most innovative, digitally enabled, payer-provider organizations serving the Northern California market. Previously, Jeb was a trailblazing pioneer in the digital health space with executive-level roles at Cricket Health and Notable, and he also held multiple leadership roles at Highmark, Inc.
“Jeb is incredibly unique in the industry as he has led successful endeavors across multiple aspects of healthcare delivery,” said Rick Abbott, Founder and CEO of Lyn Health. “From serving as an executive at esteemed health plans to leading high-growth startups focused on disrupting the healthcare industry, Jeb’s tenacity and passion for improving the healthcare experience for people shines through. I am honored to have him serving as an advisor as we bring Lyn’s pioneering care model to more employers and health plans.”
Currently, more than 34 million Americans meet the clinical definition of polychronic, growing to an estimated 83 million Americans by 2030. Lyn is poised to solve this problem.
“The time for incremental solutions is over,” said Dunkelberger. “What attracted me to Lyn was their courageous focus on solving the totality of the needs of those with multiple chronic conditions. Caring for the whole person is the only means by which we can improve the healthcare experience for those who need us most, and I am thrilled to join Rick and team as they bring their urgent mission to more Americans.”
