NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--tZERO, a leader in blockchain innovation and liquidity for digital assets, announced that its private digital security trading platform now enables customers to fund their brokerage accounts using bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH), in addition to USD Coin (USDC), which was launched in September 2021. This enhanced functionality, as previously announced, allows users to sell their BTC and/or ETH through their third-party custodial accounts and cryptocurrency wallets, and seamlessly transfer the fiat USD amounts to their tZERO Markets brokerage account.
tZERO Interim CEO and Chief Legal Officer Alan Konevsky stated, “As a part of tZERO’s philosophy of continuing to align the user experience across asset types, we have added an ability for automatic Bitcoin and Ethereum to fiat account funding. Today’s launch is an important part of our combined UX journey as well as our priority to improve the customer experience through expanding our platform’s functionalities and features and leading in the convergence of asset types and experiences.”
tZERO Markets customers can access a third-party custodial bank’s application where they can either open or access their custodial bank account to deposit BTC and/or ETH and convert their crypto assets to fiat, subject to any third-party fees and conversion prices. The user can then deposit the fiat into their tZERO Markets brokerage account, which can be used for securities trading on the tZERO ATS.

Further, an investment in single security could mean lack of diversification and, consequently, higher risk. Potential investors are urged to consult a professional adviser regarding any economic, tax, legal or other consequences of trading any securities as described herein.
