Neuhaus Education Center Appoints Chief Strategy Officer

Bronwyn Beauchamp promoted to advance and sustain strategic initiatives

BELLAIRE, Texas--()--Neuhaus Education Center, a non-profit educational organization dedicated in promoting reading success for all, announced the promotion of Bronwyn Beauchamp to the newly created position of Chief Strategy Officer, effective September 20, 2021. With Beauchamp’s promotion, she will administer the organization’s strategic plan and oversee advancement, literacy partnerships, and community programming.

Beauchamp joined Neuhaus Education Center in 2018 as Vice President of Advancement and has been instrumental in increasing financial support for the organization with 2020 marking the organization’s most successful year since its founding in 1980. She draws on previous experience in fundraising and strategy development from non-profit consulting firm Dini Spheris, Harmony Public Schools, Houston Habitat for Humanity, and Asia Society Texas Center. Altogether, Beauchamp has helped over 20 non-profits achieve philanthropic success – raising more than $50 million to improve lives and communities nationwide.

“It is an honor to serve as the Center’s first Chief Strategy Officer,” said Beauchamp. “I became familiar with the organization nearly 25 years ago when a family member received life-changing support for dyslexia. I am humbled by the opportunity to amplify the organization's impact, particularly while so many educators, children, and parents search for help navigating our new state of education.”

“As Neuhaus Education Center has pivoted due to the pandemic, our reach and impact has created a new and successful delivery system in pursuit of our mission of reading success for all,” said Dr. Tracy Weeden, President and CEO. “Under Bronwyn’s leadership, she will focus on driving Neuhaus Education Center’s mission in advancing literacy and academic excellence for children and adults locally and beyond.”

Beauchamp, a native Houstonian, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She became a Certified Fundraising Executive in 2016.
