The judging panel recognised the remarkable success and speed of this turnaround.

Kevin Chin, Founder and CEO of Arowana was awarded the Gold Stevie Award for Chairman of the Year for his leadership in successfully driving innovation across Arowana’s group of companies as well as for the execution of VivoPower’s turnaround. Kevin Chin, Founder and CEO of Arowana, said:

“The International Business Awards are the Oscars for the business world and to receive three Gold Stevies is a testament to the Arowana team’s resilience, creativity and commitment during a very difficult operating environment. I am particularly pleased with the success of our drive to digital transformation across all our companies, which have not only transformed their financials but also their future growth trajectories.

“Whilst I am humbled with the recognition of the International Chairman of the Year award especially given the stature of some of the past winners, business is a team game and such individual awards are not possible without a strong collective. I am very proud of what the Arowana team has been able to achieve against the odds over the past year.”

International Business Awards Judges commented:

“Arowana and its Chairman & CEO Mr. Chin deserve accolades for transformational innovation and an inspiring and remarkable turnaround. Their story reinforces that strong and clear-eyed, outcome-driven leadership can turn around the welfare of an organization in the relative brink of an eye.”
