Cloud Talent Generator Revolent Wins Two Prestigious Awards

Revolent, part of talent-as-a-service firm Tenth Revolution Group, has earned high praise for its AWS and Salesforce training programs.

NEW YORK--()--Talent creation specialists Revolent Group have claimed two prestigious awards this month, winning ‘Diversity Employer – SME’ and ‘Training Scheme of the Year 2020’ at the Women in Tech Excellence Awards and Computing Rising Star Awards respectively. Both awards are hosted by respected industry publication, Computing Magazine.

The Women in Tech Excellence Awards recognize and promote women exceling in the industry, while the Rising Star Awards aim to shine a spotlight on companies and individuals working to bring new talent into the ecosystem, with categories acknowledging and celebrating the future leaders in tech.

Revolent’s approach to tackling the skills shortage in high-growth technologies like AWS and Salesforce not only entails creating new talent, but also providing cost-effective hiring solutions to its clients. By offering candidates a place on its paid two-year training programs, the organization makes cross-training into these lucrative careers more accessible to a wider range of applicants.

“Diversity is the driving force behind what we do and who we are,” said Nabila Salem, President at Revolent. “If we want a real shot at narrowing the pervasive digital skills gap, we first need to address the challenges around diversity—or the lack thereof—in the space.”

Salem, who received High Commendation in the Role Model of the Year category at the Women In Tech Excellence Awards, described the wins as “a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at Revolent, from our trainers and TA team to the Revols themselves, who work tirelessly to get certified and build successful careers in the cloud. It’s a real honour to lead a team that openly celebrates the differences that make us stronger as one.”

Announcing Revolent’s win at the Women In Tech Excellence Awards, Computing Magazine commended the organization on its work to diversify the technology space, noting that the company clearly demonstrates statistics attesting to their efforts in building a more gender-diverse ecosystem.

“As leaders in the tech talent space, Tenth Revolution Group is listening to what key stakeholders actually need in order to drive greater diversity in the ecosystem, from customers and candidates to partners, vendors and ISVs,” said Dal Bamford, Chief Customer Officer at Tenth Revolution Group.

“But it’s not just about driving more diverse talent into these tech communities. As we look across world economies, there’s a distinct need to help professionals combat the displacement brought about by COVID-19 through cross-training initiatives like those offered by Revolent. These awards help show that what we’re doing as a group is truly making a difference in the world, and that’s heartening to see,” Bamford continued.

Revolent has hubs in the US, UK, and Australia, and currently offers four Salesforce pathways—Administrator, Developer, Consultant, and Marketing Cloud—as well an AWS Solutions Architect program.
