NTC Maintains Community Outreach in the Face of COVID-19

PALM HARBOR, Fla.--()--Nationwide Title Clearing, Inc. (NTC), the leading post-closing services provider for the nation’s largest financial institutions, investors and servicers, has committed to continue its community outreach efforts in the face of the coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout 2020. For several years, NTC has been heavily involved with non-profit organizations nationwide and locally in the Tampa Bay area.

Community involvement and support for programs and individuals in need is core to the culture at NTC. The company’s culture and social responsibility is to contribute by volunteering, donating, and supporting as many organizations as possible that are within the company’s nonprofit pillars. NTC incorporates its employees in their charitable efforts and participates in several events throughout the year.

Hospitals and medical staff faced a shortage of critical supplies and some of the most challenging days they have ever seen during the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking for ways to help, NTC donated $25,000 to the St. Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation Caregiver and Healthcare Worker Fund. To help with the need for masks, the company partnered with BeautyByEarth's President and Founder, Prudence Millsap, and together donated 8,000 surgical masks.

“While the companies we serve are spread out across the country, the local community has given us a home and staff to do our work and achieve success. It’s times like these that give us the opportunity to give back and to support our communities when they need us most,” said John Hillman, CEO of NTC.

In honor of May’s National Foster Care Awareness Month, NTC fulfilled the Children’s Home Network’s “Summer Wish List” of pool activities, arts & crafts, recreation supplies and more.

NTC was proud to support and be a part of the Ruth Cheatham Foundation “Making a Difference, from a Distance” virtual event in May. The organization provides financial stability and guidance for children and teenagers who are fighting their battles with cancer. Previously, NTC attended and sponsored the organizations annual Gala in Dallas, Texas. NTC plans to support and attend the gala in 2021.

NTC sponsors and supports their furry friends at the Humane Society of Pinellas in several events and donations throughout the year. The company sponsored the Humane Society of Pinellas’ annual Bark at the Ball Park event, where fans bring their furry friends to watch the ballgame. NTC also hosted a food drive for the organization’s food shelter by collecting food and supplies.

NTC’s employees collectively donated over 100 back packs and school supplies for the children at the Boys and Girls Club Tampa Bay for virtual school beginning on August 24th. Every December, NTC executives select up to 20 children to adopt for Christmas and fulfill their “Christmas Wish List” in collaboration with Tampa Bay Gives Back.

In early January, NTC team members volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House East charities where they prepared meals for patients and their families. This was the company’s eighth year volunteering for this organization.

Most recently in August, despite the pandemic, NTC donated $25,000 as a direct donation to the Carrington Charitable Foundation’s Golf Classic. The proceeds of the auction and donations go towards helping wounded Veterans who have served our country. NTC attended the annual golf classic in 2018 and 2019, donating over $50,000 to support the organization and veterans nationwide.

“Despite the hardships our nation continues to face in 2020, our team at Nationwide Title Clearing will continue to be committed to our core values in giving back and helping organizations in need,” said Hillman.
