Prior to joining SRD Legal, Roy was Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Operations and Technology at Prudential Financial, Inc. and its affiliates where he worked for over 23 years. In that role, he served as senior legal advisor to the Chief Information officer and to the Head of Operations and directed all legal work pertinent to the operations and systems of the Company, including technology, strategic non-technology vendors, outsourcing (ITO and BPO), intellectual property and real estate. Additionally, he provided support to the General Counsel in various strategic legal initiatives, including law firm management and the optimization of in-house legal services. Prior to joining Prudential, Roy practiced information technology law and intellectual property law for almost 12 years at MetLife.
