iSecurity Announces Reseller Agreement with Armis to Offer Strengthened Cybersecurity Detection Services in Healthcare and Critical Infrastructure

TORONTO--()--iSecurity Consulting (iSecurity) is pleased to announce a value added reseller agreement with Armis, the California-based leader in agentless security for unmanaged and ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) devices. This new agreement enhances iSecurity’s existing monitoring and detection services for healthcare and critical infrastructure service providers by offering cyber threat visibility into medical devices, bio medical networks and control system devices. It also offers visibility into commonplace assets connected to the Internet, such as smart TVs, security cameras, printers and HVAC systems.

Based in Toronto, iSecurity has been delivering digital protection to North American and international clients including government agencies, hospitals and businesses since the inception of the cybersecurity industry. Its clients rely on advanced cybersecurity monitoring and detection services to proactively respond before an incident or data breach occurs. When a threat is detected, the nature of the threat is fed back into its 24X7X365 Security Operations Centre (SOC) to analyze the threat and determine whether a response is necessary. These threats are generally detected in its clients’ firewalls, networks and servers. In addition to detecting anomalies in millions of cyber traffic events on a daily basis, iSecurity’s Incident Response Team has remediated more than 27 data breaches over the past twelve months to minimize organizations’ downtime and data loss.

“Our new partnership with Armis offers a new angle on discovery, asset and vulnerability management along with cybersecurity detection for our clients whose facilities and environments are increasingly relying on unmanaged and IoT devices. As threats are detected across these devices, our SOC will be able to quickly offer critical advice on whether action needs to be taken. This is a reflection of our commitment to offering the best value-added cybersecurity services to elevate our clients’ security posture,” said Raheel Qureshi, Partner of Cybersecurity Services at iSecurity.

A complete inventory of hardware and software is critically important to all enterprises. This is why many regulatory security frameworks build from the initial step of asset inventory. “Armis automatically generates a complete inventory of devices in an enterprise environment - on or off the network,” said Ajay Sood, Regional Vice President and Country Manager for Armis. “Our solution works with all types of devices, including those that cannot accommodate a security software footprint, such as anti-virus or system management software. Not only does this allow us to offer our customers visibility into 50 to 70% more devices, it also allows us to deploy in as little as minutes instead of weeks. With IoT devices being estimated to make up 90% of devices by 2021, we are keen on working with iSecurity to support hospitals and other critical service providers in gaining a more proactive, micro-level view into security threats.”

To kick-off their new relationship, Armis and iSecurity will be hosting a complimentary webinar on July 7th with a spotlight on securing medical devices for Healthcare organizations. To reserve your spot, register here.
