NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Club Vita, the international leader in longevity data analytics, today announced that Jennifer Haid has joined Club Vita’s international team as Chief Executive Officer. Haid will oversee all facets of Club Vita’s international business including supporting the US, Canadian and UK teams, working from our base in New York. Club Vita has also named Dan Ryan and Brian Okupski to its board. Dan and Brian will provide strategic direction and guidance to Club Vita’s executive leadership team.
Previously, Haid was vice president Strategic Marketing and Product Development at American International Group in New York City, where she established a new international pension reinsurance capability. Prior to AIG, she worked for EY in New York consulting to the insurance community, and in Toronto at Willis Towers Watson consulting to large multi-nationals on issues related to their pension programs. Haid is a regular speaker and an author of several industry papers, focusing on the measurement and management of retirement risks. She serves on the Society of Actuaries’ Board of Directors, was a founding member of its Longevity Advisory Group and acts as a leader and advocate for Diversity & Inclusion.
Haid commented, “We’re seeing rapid innovation in the longevity space from pension plans, consultants, technology providers, insurers, reinsurers, investment managers and capital markets businesses. It’s an ideal time to join the Club Vita team given its unique position to help support and drive the product development, research and analytics that will make a material difference to financial security for plan members and insured lives across the globe.”
“This is a crucial time for insurers and defined benefit pension plans; the COVID-19 pandemic alone has clearly demonstrated that the importance of demographic modeling and the appreciation of the benefits of risk management have never been greater,” remarked Dan Reddy, Club Vita’s US CEO. “Jenny and Dan Ryan’s leadership experience in the actuarial community will be essential as we continue to grow our footprint internationally while fostering innovation for our pension and insurance clients.”
About Club Vita
Club Vita is a longevity data analytics company, which facilitates the pooling and statistical analysis of demographic data from defined benefit (DB) pension and retiree health plans to reveal insights that would not be evident to the plans acting alone. Its UK, Canadian and US entities serve the needs of plan sponsors and their advisors. Club Vita’s innovative team has designed, built and refined socio-economic models for understanding the diversity of longevity. These enable plan sponsors not only to tailor their assumptions to reflect their people, but also to develop strategies to actively measure and manage their longevity risk, so longevity is no longer just an actuarial assumption.
