TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Canadian Investor Relations Institute’s (CIRI’s) 2020 Annual Conference, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been rescheduled to November 22-24, 2020 in Calgary, Alberta.
“We are excited to deliver the 2020 Annual Conference in person to our members, sponsors and conference participants,” said Yvette Lokker, President & CEO, CIRI. “Now, more than ever, it is important for the IR profession to come together to discuss the challenges they have encountered, how they have adapted their IR programs and the lessons they have learned.”
Each year, CIRI’s Annual Conference brings together investor relations professionals from across Canada to stay up-to-date on IR best practices and emerging trends; learn from IR, governance and capital markets experts; network with peers; and stay informed on the IR tools and services available. Additional information on CIRI’s Annual Conference can be found here.
The early bird registration rate has been extended until September 15, 2020. Regular registration rates will be available from September 16, 2020 until November 7, 2020, after which late registration rates will apply. If attendees are unable to attend the Annual Conference due to health concerns or travel restrictions, they will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Those already registered for the Annual Conference will be able to apply their fees toward the rescheduled Annual Conference. Should they be unable to attend due to health concerns or travel restrictions, these fees can be applied to other CIRI National professional development events or membership dues.
The Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Calgary, where CIRI has arranged rooms at a discounted rate of $209/night. Please refer to CIRI.org to book under the CIRI group rate as rooms booked outside of the group or at other hotels may result in significant additional costs to CIRI.
Thank you to our members, speakers, 2020 sponsors and registrants for your patience as we worked through the details. We look forward to catching up with you in Calgary! To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, contact Yvette Lokker.
