NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stone Harbor Investment Partners LP (“Stone Harbor”), a global institutional fixed income investment manager with expertise in emerging markets debt and global credit strategies, announced today that Mark A. Weiller has joined the firm as Head of Distribution and Product Management for the Americas. He will be based in New York.

Weiller brings 28 years of experience in the asset management industry. Before joining Stone Harbor, he was Investment Director, Emerging Markets, for M&G Investments US. Prior to M&G, he worked in senior management and distribution roles at New Sparta Asset Management, Ashmore Investment Management and Citigroup Asset Management.
Weiller earned an MPA in International Economic Policy from Columbia University, an MBA from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business and a BA in International Relations from Syracuse University.
