CIRI Alberta Announces 2020 Annual General Meeting Voting Results

CALGARY, Alberta--()--The Canadian Investor Relations Institute ("CIRI") Alberta Chapter is pleased to report that, at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on May 12, 2020, 11 nominees were elected as Chapter Executives, with Ryder McRitchie, Vice President Capital Markets and Public Relations at Jupiter Resources Ltd., re-appointed as the Chair.

“CIRI contributes to the transparency and integrity of the Canadian capital markets by advancing the practice of investor relations, the professional competency of our members and the stature of the profession,” stated Ryder McRitchie. “In the past year, the Alberta Chapter hosted several successful events focused on current topics with the goal of supporting our members in continuous learning and staying connected. We look forward to fresh ideas and energy to continue to enhance the quality of our programming and encourage our membership to reach out to any of the Executive and share their ideas. The volunteer engagement of our membership is critical to the success of our association, so thank you to the Executives for your continued commitment and hard work to keep the Alberta Chapter moving forward.
