DURHAM, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Neu Concepts announced today their new initiative to help companies implement social distancing solutions in their workplaces. Returning to business means reimagining spaces that provide enhanced safety, reinforce social distancing and provide peace of mind to employees, customers and visitors. Neu Concepts solutions include custom protective barriers, moveable walls, hand sanitizing stations and signage to add an extra layer of separation, explain new protocols and direct traffic flow.
“We are entering uncharted waters as stay-at-home restrictions are lifted and people venture out,” said Cathy Hofknecht, managing partner at Neu Concepts. “It’s important to be thoughtful in creating spaces where people feel comfortable and safe. By taking an individualized approach to each environment, we can help to create stylish spaces that fit a company’s culture and brand, while still allowing for human interaction and collaboration.”
Leveraging their experience in designing and building custom interiors and trade show exhibits, Neu Concepts’ approach involves meeting with businesses, conducting walk-throughs either virtually or in-person to identify opportunities for protective barriers and visual cues that reinforce social distancing and new business protocols. Neu Concepts focuses on three key areas:
- Lobbies and Entryways: This initial entry point is the first step in screening visitors and establishing protocols for a facility.
- Workspaces: Adapting for lower density will be a primary goal for many offices since maintaining six feet of distance means each person needs thirty-six square feet of space.
- Open Public Spaces: As most businesses look to reopen at much lower capacity, they need to find ways to ensure adherence to social distancing with visual cues and physical barriers.
“Our focus has always been on creating thoughtful spaces that allow for collaboration and bringing brands to life. We see social distancing solutions as an extension of that mission, one that will help us all adapt to the new normal,” adds Brittany Pelegrino, director of creative and account services at Neu Concepts.
