Advantmed Launches Virtual Wellness Visits to Keep Patients Safe and Healthy

Adding telehealth capabilities to its Health Assessment, Advantmed helps clients reach members during the COVID-19 crisis

SANTA ANA, Calif.--()--Advantmed, LLC, a healthcare solutions company focused on risk adjustment and quality improvement, introduces its telehealth solution, which offers virtual, secure wellness visits to patients during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Advantmed expanded access to its HIPAA-compliant Health Assessment solution by adding an easy to use, secure telehealth application, enabling virtual wellness visits. The virtual wellness visit connects credentialed clinicians with at-risk patients via their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Clinicians check in with patients and conduct a comprehensive health assessment to ensure that they are getting the care they need while keeping them safe at home. Patients easily connect with clinicians from a link in a text message or email without the need for downloads or setup requirements for either providers or patients.

CMS further clarified its stance on telehealth for Medicare Risk Adjustment in the Federal Register / Vol. 85, No. 66 / Monday, April 6, 2020, confirming the billing codes, place of service, and billing method to support virtual wellness visits.
