NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anu Aiyengar, Global Co-Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at J.P. Morgan and Linda Yaccarino, Chairman of Advertising and Partnerships at NBCUniversal, are this year’s keynote speakers at the RegentAtlantic Wall Street Women Forum.
The Forum is an invitation-only event designed for high-level women in the industry. This year’s 11th annual Forum will be held at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, March 31, hosted by Jane Newton, Forum Founder and RegentAtlantic Partner and Wealth Advisor. The Forum community has more than 850 members, with more than 125 expected to attend the March 31 event.
The 2020 theme, The Big Stretch, will focus on embracing change and learning proven tactics to get comfortable being uncomfortable.
“Our survey at last year’s conference revealed surprising answers from attendees. 35% of the women are fulfilled with their current roles, yet 29% said they were not at all where they want to be and were taking steps to change that,” said Newton. “At the same time, 35% identified being their ‘own worst enemy’ as the biggest barrier to success. Our 2020 Forum is thus poised to give these already accomplished women actionable insights to stay ahead and stretch beyond what they thought possible.”
The Forum also features two panel sessions with substantive content and specific takeaways to support the attendees’ professional and personal growth:
Be the CEO of Your Own Career
Anne Valentine Andrews, Managing Director and Deputy Head of Real Estate Assets at BlackRock; Mary Caracappa, Founding Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Zenda; and Danielle Johnson, Managing Director and Co-Head of The Americas Equities Business at Credit Suisse will discuss the key tools and strategies to think outside the box and design one’s own path. This session, moderated by Melinda B. Wolfe, Former Chief People Officer, HR Consultant, and Executive Coach, will provide practical advice to navigating career moves proactively and intentionally, and with confidence.
The Board Game: Myth vs. Reality
Lawton W. Fitt, Chairperson of the Board at The Progressive Corporate, Lead Independent Director at The Carlyle Group, Independent Director at Ciena Corporate and Micro Focus International PLC; and Susan Sobbott, Board Member at WEX Inc. and Former President of Global Commercial Services at American Express, will offer an insider’s view into serving on corporate boards. This session, moderated by Jane Sadowsky, Independent Director at Yamana Gold Inc. and Nexa Resources, and Senior Advisor, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Moelis & Company, will discuss what corporate boards look for and how to build a network and best position one’s skills to gain a corporate board seat.
