iQ Academy California – Los Angeles Offers Students a Golden Opportunity for the ‘20-‘21 School Year

SIMI VALLEY, Calif.--()--iQ Academy California – Los Angeles (iQLA) is now accepting enrollments for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. An accredited full-time online and blended public charter school authorized by the Rowland Unified School District, iQLA serves families in five southern California counties who are seeking a tuition-free learning experience outside the one-size-fits-all approach to K-12 education.

“At iQLA, we are committed to providing a personalized education for every one of our students,” says Head of School Nick Stecken. “We understand that each student has unique gifts and goals, and it’s exciting to see how the online and blended learning option can unlock their potential.”

iQLA students are offered a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, history and English/language arts, as well as world languages, music and art. Electives are available to high school students, offering exposure to academic and career-focused content as they work towards their high school diploma and chart a course to a successful future.

With innovative technology, inspiring teachers, and a dynamic, interactive curriculum, students learn in an environment that is right for them, while building supportive relationships with classmates and staff in online classrooms. Teachers also communicate with families via phone, chat and email, to ensure students are appropriately challenged and actively engaged in their education.

“We love IQ academy and feel supported by the teachers and staff,” said iQLA parent V. Lackey. “We look forward to many more years.”

To foster a sense of school community, iQLA offers virtual and in-person student clubs, field trips, social outings, and other activities throughout the year, including an in-person graduation ceremony in the spring.
