DAYTON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New York Times bestselling author Cassandra Clare will join fans for a book signing to celebrate her latest project “Chain of Gold” on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Van Buren Middle School located at 3775 Shroyer Rd. in Kettering, Ohio. Guests are invited to enjoy a night of lively discussion followed by a Q&A session with the audience and a brief trivia challenge.
“Chain of Gold” features Cordelia Carstairs, a warrior trained since childhood to battle demons. When her father is accused of a terrible crime, she and her brother travel to Edwardian London in hopes of preventing the family’s ruin. When a shocking series of demon attacks devastate London, Cordelia and her friends discover that their own connection to a dark legacy has gifted them with incredible powers—and force a brutal choice that will reveal the true cruel price of being a hero.
Cassandra Clare was born overseas and spent her early years traveling around the world with her family and several trunks of fantasy books. Cassandra worked for several years as an entertainment journalist for the Hollywood Reporter before turning her attention to fiction. She is the author of City of Bones, the first book in the Mortal Instruments trilogy and is a New York Times bestseller.
Tickets start at $30 and are available here. Attendees will receive a copy of “Chain of Gold” for Cassandra Clare to sign and personalize along with a photo opportunity. The author will also be signing one additional older title of choice.
