SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is pleased to announce that Brendan Dolan and Lucky Meinz have joined the firm’s San Francisco office as partners in the Labor and Employment practice group. Dolan and Meinz were most recently shareholders at Vedder Price, where Dolan was Chair of the West Coast Labor and Employment practice area. They are the fourth and fifth partners to join Sheppard Mullin so far in 2020.

Dolan has more than 30 years of experience representing employers in a wide range of labor and employment law matters encompassing both litigation and counseling. He has brought dozens of successful motions for summary judgment, has extensive injunction litigation experience, has tried cases and handled appeals in the state and federal courts, and has arbitrated a wide variety of employment disputes. Dolan also counsels employers on myriad labor and employment issues encompassing virtually every facet of the employment relationship. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the Law Review, member of the McAuliffe Honor Society, and recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards in Corporations, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Labor Law, and of the USF Law School Retention Scholarship. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and by Legal 500 United States.
Meinz counsels employers on all aspects of employment law, including wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, breach of contract, noncompete, incentive compensation and other and wage-and-hour matters. She regularly reviews and drafts company policies, employee handbooks and employment agreements. She is also an experienced litigator who has successfully defended single-plaintiff, representative, class and collective actions in arbitration, trial and appellate courts. Meinz received her B.A. with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley; her MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science; and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School.
