NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EagleTree Capital, a leading independent private equity and investment firm, today announced that Stephanie McCavitt has joined the Firm as General Counsel.
Over her distinguished 25-year legal career, including 20 years with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP, Ms. McCavitt has advised numerous private equity and other clients on a wide variety of legal and tax matters. In her role as Counsel in the Private Funds practice group at Paul Weiss, Ms. McCavitt advised EagleTree on complex legal matters, including the formation of EagleTree’s last three private equity funds, and its recent structured financing and minority stake sale transactions.

She received a B.B.A from the University of Massachusetts, a J.D. from New York Law School (magna cum laude) and an LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
