Thumbtack Adds Jeff Grant and Scott Booker to Executive Team

Former CEOs with Expertise Scaling Marketplaces Join as COO and CPO

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Thumbtack, the local services marketplace connecting customers to skilled professionals nationwide, today announced the appointment of Jeff Grant as Chief Operating Officer and Scott Booker as Chief Product Officer. Both are based out of the company's San Francisco headquarters.

As COO, Grant heads up the company’s sales, success, community, customer support, and trust and safety teams. He joins Thumbtack as a veteran in the travel space, first working as an analyst at American Airlines and following as an early employee at Orbitz. Over the course of his tenure at Orbitz, Grant served as GM of each travel vertical, including running a $1.5 billion P&L across multiple businesses. Prior to Thumbtack, he held executive roles as CMO at LeapFrog, CEO at DriversEd, and CEO at insuranceQuotes.

As CPO, Booker leads the company’s product development, design, and growth marketing departments. He brings a breadth of consumer technology experience, including more than nine years at Expedia. As President of worldwide, Booker grew bookings substantially across the globe. Most recently, he worked at two healthcare-focused marketplaces, serving as CEO at Healthgrades and CPO/CMO/President of International at A Place for Mom.
