BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PR Club, the oldest organization for communication professionals in New England, today opened submissions for the 52nd Annual Bell Ringer Awards, which honor outstanding achievement in PR and marketing. The PR Club’s board of directors invites public relations, marketing and communication professionals based in New England or those who manage(d) initiatives for New England-based clients to submit their original work for consideration. Additionally, entries are now open for the three Professional Awards: Striker (young professional), Ringer (mid-level) and John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement.
The Bell Ringers annually showcase the best of the New England PR community with innovative strategies and tactics, compelling campaigns, and creative thinking. There are more than 50 categories in 2020 to provide entrants with a variety of opportunities to showcase how they are breaking through in today’s rapidly changing industry. A few of the new categories include Diversity Initiatives, Emerging Technology, Paid Media, Nano Influencers and External Spokesperson, as well as separate categories for B2B and B2C in Social Media and Brand Building. And for the first time, this year all entries must be submitted in slide format (PPT or PDF) with the goal of making entries easier to prepare and more consistent.
Winning submissions will be announced and celebrated at the annual awards gala on June 4, 2020, at The Royal Sonesta in Boston.
“As our industry continues to evolve, we strive to provide opportunities for our community to show the influence they’re having and the results they’re achieving,” said Todd Graff, President of PR Club and Senior Vice President, public relations for CTP Boston. “The core of that is, and will always remain, clear audience understanding, compelling strategy, and great communications – and it is always our goal to showcase and honor those in our community who find new and interesting ways to break through and deliver results.”
