OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Humphreys Capital, a leading real estate investment company, today announced that Humphreys Fund I, LLC (“Fund I”) has reopened to Accredited Investors, effective January 1, 2020. New for 2020, some investors can access Fund I via the Charles Schwab and Fidelity alternative investment custodial platforms. The annual offering will remain open until selling out, but no later than June 30, 2020.
As it has since its 2012 formation, Fund I will continue to focus on investments in the multifamily, industrial, office and retail sectors in high-growth cities across the Southeast and Southwest United States. The investment team will seek opportunities in long-term buy-and-hold real estate in prime locations, established properties offering stabilized cash flow with potential for value-add, and infill development in proven submarkets. As of September 30, 2019, Fund I has a portfolio of 67 assets with a property value of more than $550 million. Cash distributions from the fund have increased on a nominal basis each year since its formation, and investors in the fund have experienced a 14.5% net IRR since inception. The minimum initial investment for Fund I is $500,000.
“We are pleased to launch the ninth annual offering of Humphreys Fund I,” said Kirk Humphreys, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Humphreys Capital. “Opening the fund to investors each year helps us grow and diversify the portfolio. What began in 2012 as an investment vehicle for the Humphreys family and a few close friends is now attracting many high-net-worth individuals, family offices and foundations, who value our relationship-driven approach to sourcing off-market transactions. We thank our new and returning investors for their confidence in Humphreys Capital.”
