The Virtual High School Announces Rebrand to VHS Learning

New Brand Identity Reinforces the Nonprofit’s Values and Mission of Providing Students and Teachers with Collaborative and Engaging Learning Opportunities

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Virtual High School (VHS, Inc.) a non-profit leader providing world-class online programs to students and schools everywhere has changed its name to VHS Learning (VHS, Inc.). The name change is part of a comprehensive rebrand that includes a refreshed look and feel and a new logo, all designed to revamp the way VHS Learning communicates its mission, beliefs, and what sets it apart from for-profit online education providers.

“Our focus is on our community of learners - our small and supportive classrooms and the personal attention we give to every educator and learner,” said Carol Ribeiro, President & CEO of VHS Learning “The name VHS Learning provides a broader representation of what we are — a learning company — while keeping ties to ‘VHS’ since we were the very first nationwide supplemental virtual high school program in the U.S.”

The new logo symbolizes community and collaboration, shown by the colorful overlapping circles which come together to form a dialog. This reflects VHS Learning’s collaborative of schools as well as the organization’s emphasis on collaboration and communication within its online classrooms. “The many-colored circles reflect the variety of course disciplines we offer and the diversity that makes up VHS Learning, our global community of students, teachers, site coordinators, administrators, parents, and staff,” Ribeiro stated.

“At VHS Learning, we believe in community, service and the sharing of resources so all students and schools can benefit,” Ribeiro continued. “Our rebranding initiative is designed to reflect this belief and better illustrate the importance we place on friendliness, creativity, social and emotional skills development, trust, and dependability, now and for many years to come.”
