The annual three-day event welcomes more than 20,000 fans each day with a mix of musical performances, live action sports, and interactive art exhibitions.

This year, SnowGlobe is teaming up with MTV and HeadCount to get fans excited for the 2020 election and make sure their voices are heard in November. HeadCount volunteers will be on the ground to encourage festival attendees to register to vote and make sure they stay informed about election milestones throughout the year. HeadCount will also have a booth in the MTV Lodge with swag, giveaway contests, and more! This effort is part of MTV’s year-long +1 the Vote campaign to encourage all potential first-time voters to register and vote next November. +1 the Vote is focused on making voting more social, making voting easier and making voting a milestone for first-time voters.
In addition to strict use of compostable and reusable plate ware across the festival, SnowGlobe’s partnership with Proud Source Water allows the festival to alleviate 100% of single-use-plastic from the event; a sustainability achievement that SnowGlobe producers have been working towards since the onset of the festival in 2011.
Now entering its ninth year, the acclaimed music and mountain festival is the largest outdoor NYE music festival in the nation. Artists from Travis Scott to Post Malone to Zedd and many more have performed at SnowGlobe, which is highlighted by its iconic countdown party at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
