WESTBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BJ’s Wholesale Club (NYSE: BJ), a leading operator of membership warehouse clubs in the Eastern United States, today announced a $10,000 donation from the BJ’s Charitable Foundation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast. BJ’s donation will support the Boys & Girls Clubs holiday party for over 90 children and will provide fundamental supplies for the club and its participants.

With the $10,000 grant from BJ’s Charitable Donation, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast will provide gifts, food and other holiday essentials for the annual holiday party. The grant will also provide supplies to support the Boys & Girls Clubs’ operational needs.
For 50 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast (BGCEC) has provided safe and positive environments for youth between the ages of 5 and 18 during out-of-school time. BGCEC offers a variety of nationally recognized programs that address today’s most pressing youth issues. The programs teach young people the skills they need to succeed in life, while providing a safe place for more than 2,450 Northwest Florida children to go after school and during the summer. BGCEC provides programs in three Priority Outcome Areas: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles at eight club sites in Escambia, Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
