KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eileen Auen, founder of Deep Run Consulting, LLC, a firm that provides consulting services to the health care industry, has become a member of MedRisk’s board of directors, effective December 16, 2019.
Auen is the former Executive Chairman of Helios, a workers’ compensation ancillary company formed by a merger of PMSI, Inc. and Progressive Medical and later acquired by OptumRx. She had served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PMSI from 2008 until the PMSI-Progressive merger in 2013.

Previously, Auen was the head of health care management for Aetna, leading the company’s network, care management and informatics organizations. Earlier, she served as CEO of APS Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of care management and behavioral healthcare solutions in the public sector and commercial markets. Her 25-year career includes leadership positions with RISCORP, CIGNA and its subsidiary INTRACORP.
Auen holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and earned her bachelor’s in Economics and Finance from Towson University in Towson, Maryland.
