QuickBridge Announces Winners of 2019 Influential Women in Business Contest

IRVINE, Calif.--()--QuickBridge, a privately held, leading alternative lender offering small business loans nationwide, is pleased to announce the winners of its 2019 Influential Women in Business Contest. QuickBridge designed the competition to run from Monday, October 21 through Friday, November 1. The dates correspond to American Business Women’s Day on September 22 and National Business Women’s Week October 21-25, 2019.

“In its second year, we are thrilled that our Influential Women in Business contest provides an opportunity to bring national recognition to dedicated and deserving professionals,” said QuickBridge Marketing Director Jenny Alonzo.

Individuals were asked to nominate an influential woman in business, or themselves, with a 100-word social post on why the person nominated was deserving of recognition. A QuickBridge panel of judges selected the winners based on the commitment and entrepreneurial spirit of the nominee.

QuickBridge is pleased to announce the contest winners:

Helen Rumley-Cunningham, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, has dedicated 22 years to the practice of project management, supply chain management, and logistics. She has worked in corporate America, practiced in the private sector, local government, and the federal government. She founded Rumley Notary Services more than 17 years ago. The firm has closed hundreds of mortgages, divorce documents, power of attorney, and more. In 2018, she founded Big Ride Transportation to provide fast and reliable freight delivery. She finds time to volunteer and is president of her local sorority chapter.

Aging specialist Ligia Ilea-Naik (https://intouchseniorservices.com), started working in long-term care more than 17 years ago. Ligia owns and manages three companies: an assisted living facility; a medical supply store; and a senior housing placement agency. She holds licenses as an Assisted Living Facility Manager, Caregiver, and First Aid and CPR provider. Her ultimate passion and purpose are to be of service by advocating for older adults with resources many don't even know exist.

Michlyn Gazaway founded ōtium 30A (https://otiumstudios.com) in 2015. Her mission was to build a boutique yoga studio that would welcome all, assist clients in living their best lives, and create a community that "supports the good." Michlyn expanded to include the shop at ōtium, which houses 85+ lines of luxury activewear, natural apothecary, and lifestyle essentials, with each brand committed to ethical and sustainable policies. In 2018, ōtium Savannah opened, becoming the first franchised location.
