Bay Area Family Law Attorney Joyce Chang Joins Hanson Crawford Crum

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Premier Bay Area family law firm Hanson Crawford Crum announced today that Joyce Chang has joined the firm and will be based out of its San Mateo office. Recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the past three-consecutive years, Joyce has focused her practice in representing people in high-net worth divorces.

“Joyce’s practical and empathetic approach coupled with her considerable experience make her an outstanding addition to the firm and an asset to our clients,” said Belinda Hanson, the firm’s managing partner.

Joyce recognizes the deeply personal and sensitive nature of family law cases, and is resolutely committed to minimizing the emotional toll involved for all parties throughout a case, especially children. She is experienced with complex, high-asset dissolution cases including property division, working closely with financial and vocational experts and negotiating and crafting the global settlement of cases to avoid litigation altogether.

Joyce earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law where she served as an editor on multiple Journals, including the Santa Clara Law Review and the Santa Clara journal of International Law. She served as a mentor for incoming women law students through the Women and Law Association and interned for the Honorable Judge Socrates Manoukian of Santa Clara County Superior Court. Joyce is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and served as a volunteer translator at a local non-profit dedicated towards providing basic legal rights to Asian immigrants.
