T-System Partners with EvidenceCare to Make Clinical Decision Support Accessible for Emergency Physicians

Leader in emergency care technology industry announces new partnership

DALLAS--()--T-System, Inc., an industry leader in emergency care solutions and documentation, today announced a three-year agreement with EvidenceCare, a clinical decision support tool for healthcare providers. This integration will make the EvidenceCare tool available to clinicians in more than 500 emergency departments nationwide.

T-System Executive Vice president and General Manager, Documentation, Dr. Robert Hitchcock, M.D., FACEP noted innovations such as T-System’s partnership with EvidenceCare allows organizations to drive efficiencies and compliance for its customers.

“T-System is committed to advancing care delivery and financial outcomes for episodic care,” said Hitchcock. “As an emergency physician, I experienced first-hand the difficulties clinicians face when it comes to accessible and actionable clinical decision support. By integrating the EvidenceCare tool into our offerings, T-System will now be able to deliver patient-specific content to the provider at the point of care, enhancing workflow and ensuring compliance.”

With this complete integration within T-System, EvidenceCare’s enterprise version enables clinicians to access the tool directly while providing care at the bedside. EvidenceCare is finalizing content and accreditation to embed the ability to reference Appropriate Use Criteria for Advanced Imaging within its protocols to help T-System customers meet CMS’s current and expanding Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA) mandates.

“This is a pivotal relationship for our organization,” said Dr. Brian Fengler, co-founder and CEO, EvidenceCare. “It continues to validate our product at the enterprise level and within the emergency medicine and urgent care communities. Delivering the most complete and relevant content to providers when they need it most, at the point of care, is what we do. Doing that through T-System is a key way for us to deliver on that promise.”
