INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allison Transmission, the largest global manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty fully automatic transmissions, announced they are the recipient of the 2018 Master of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks of North America (DTNA). This is the third time that Allison has received this coveted award from DTNA, and is the highest recognition that a supplier can receive.
“The award is a reflection of the company’s focus on excellence,” said Brett Fisher, Product Development Quality for Daimler Trucks North America.
The annual award program recognizes outstanding suppliers that received high scores on their quality, delivery, technology and cost performance. This year, 45 Master of Quality awards were presented to DTNA suppliers, which is less than 4 percent of their global supply base.
