PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Health Partners Plans (HPP) continues to build on the outstanding care and services offered to area residents with some of its most competitive Medicare Advantage plans ever. Developed to anticipate and meet the needs of seniors and others eligible for Medicare, these newly developed plans will be available to an expanded segment of Pennsylvanians and will not require referrals. Starting October 15, Health Partners Medicare will begin accepting 2020 enrollments for three plans:
- Health Partners Medicare Prime (HMO-POS)
- Health Partners Medicare Special (HMO SNP)
- Health Partners Medicare Simple (HMO-POS)
These comprehensive plans will be available to eligible residents across an expanded service area, including Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Philadelphia, Perry, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh and Northampton counties. All plans include benefits for primary care and specialist visits, as well as routine hearing, dental and vision care services.
In 2020, Health Partners Medicare Prime will be available at a reduced premium with a point-of-service option. Prime will also offer exciting additions to its already robust range of benefits, including reduced specialty copays, a $0 transportation benefit, an over-the-counter drug allowance with online and delivery options, hearing aid allowance, increased dental allowance and access to the SilverSneakers® fitness program.
Available at an affordable premium, Health Partners Medicare Special will continue to offer valuable and new benefits to members who are eligible for Medicare and full Medicaid. These benefits will include increased transportation benefits, an increased over-the-counter drug allowance with online and delivery options, increased hearing aid allowance, worldwide emergency coverage and access to SilverSneakers®.
Also in 2020, the new Health Partners Medicare Simple plan will be available for people who want more benefits than Original Medicare and a $0 plan premium. Health Partners Medicare Simple will offer a point-of-service option and affordable primary care and specialty copays. The plan will fully cover routine dental exams and will also offer generous allowances for hearing and vision services.
In addition, all Health Partners Medicare members can receive certain Part D drugs and other services with low or no copays.
