SAIC Wins Contract to Stabilize U.S. Patent and Trademark Office IT Systems and Support Future IT Modernization

Company to provide IT modernization services to upgrade mission critical systems

RESTON, Va.--()--The Department of Commerce awarded Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) a systems integration contract supporting the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The single-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling value of $60 million and a five-year period of performance.

Leveraging SAIC’s proven application modernization and cloud migration solutions, the company will provide IT modernization services to stabilize the portfolio of critical U.S. Patent and Trademark Office IT systems and prevent any disruption to service. SAIC will also provide technical leadership and solution delivery through short and long-term implementation processes that help address several challenges facing the agency.

Work will be performed primarily in Alexandria, Virginia, with some work offered to remote sites within the Continental United States.
