"I am excited to step into the role of CEO for Ocean Recovery," said Mr. Moen. "Ocean has an outstanding reputation and has been one of my favorite programs since it opened 17 years ago. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead and serve on this team. The passion and expertise of the directors and clinicians and the length of how long they have been with this organization speaks volumes about the integrity and the culture of Ocean Recovery. I love that this organization is wholeheartedly invested in the mission of client-centric treatment and has an unwavering commitment and dedication to the betterment of the clinical staff.”
Paul Moen began his career in the addiction treatment industry in February of 2000, owning and operating Beach Landing Transitional Living in Orange County, CA. He believes that sophisticated treatment promotes character development, emotional intelligence, and healthy interpersonal relationships, and that teaching responsibility is essential for long-term recovery.
Mr. Moen also serves on the boards of Rock to Recovery, Friendly House, and the Orange County Men's Association of Addiction Treatment - MAAT.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to have Paul join the team and lead us as our new CEO," said Kathy Tunney, Executive Director of Ocean Recovery. “Paul arrives with an impressive resume having spent the last 18 years in the addiction field as well as founding and developing a premier addiction treatment center with a national presence. He is a proven strategic, pragmatic, and highly talented leader. Paul has the passion for recovery that we expect from all members of our team and as a mission-driven person with an entrepreneurial spirit, he will open new doors for the company as well as the men and women we treat."
