BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stateless, Inc., the company reinventing network connectivity, today announced the appointment of Michael Anderson as Vice President of Marketing. With more than 25 years of experience within the networking industry, Anderson will focus on accelerating adoption of Stateless’ Luxon platform and boosting awareness of the immense power of the network to vastly improve end-user experience through new, game-changing capabilities.
“Mike Anderson’s exceptional combination of creativity, networking expertise and proven ability to assist in building successful companies makes him a great asset to our team,” said Murad Kablan, Stateless CEO. “With the increase in cloud-based services, the emergence of IoT and 5G connectivity, and industry wide adoption of DevOps initiatives, companies are starting to recognize the value that software-defined interconnect (SD-IX) can bring to networks. Mike’s experience and demonstrated ability to socialize new technologies will help position Luxon as the leading network platform for providers to use to deploy their own custom network applications, no matter how complex.”
Anderson’s networking industry experience includes roles in engineering, operations, product and marketing. With proficiency in accelerating growth for both emerging and large organizations, he has worked with multiple networking startup companies and has held positions with communications providers, telecom equipment manufacturers, software vendors and data center operators. Prior to joining Stateless, Anderson was the Vice President of Marketing at Flexential, a leading provider of tailored IT solutions including colocation, connectivity and cloud.
“Stateless has innovative technology, a great team and a phenomenal market opportunity,” said Anderson. “The Stateless platform is designed to expose the power of the network in ways that exceed what most people can even imagine. I believe the company can change networking in the same way that virtualization transformed computing. I am excited to join the Stateless team and to help transform the way networks are built and optimized.”
Stateless has developed the industry’s first SD-IX platform, which gives cloud, colocation and data center providers the ability to build new networking products to move data between data centers, tenant sites and hyperscale clouds. Stateless’ novel approach is making networking simple while evolvable and extensible and is creating new market opportunities for providers and end users.
While software and virtualization have been applied to networking in various ways, including Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), these applications have gained limited market traction. The challenge that persists with these approaches is that they use modern software architectures to emulate or virtualize legacy network equipment, which results in software versions of legacy hardware, thus inheriting the legacy hardware challenges.
Stateless’ SD-IX platform not only incorporates the modern software techniques that have advanced cloud computing, but it is fundamentally changing how network functions are built. This new approach securely exposes more of the network to the end users and allows for the creation of many new services, products and capabilities.
“With SD-IX, Stateless is taking a completely different approach to networking versus its competitors,” added Anderson. “Just like cloud computing has allowed access to computing in previously unfathomable ways, Stateless is unleashing the power of the network.”
Stateless is reinventing connectivity. We are dedicated to relentlessly solving the network challenges others deem impossible. The revolutionary Stateless platform gives users the power to optimize existing network assets to control and connect every endpoint, including portfolio data centers, tenant sites and hyperscale clouds.
