DSFederal Wins CIO-SP3 IDIQ to Deliver Advanced Technology Solutions to Federal Agencies via NITAAC

Woman-owned GovCon leader specializing in technology and services for federal health, science programs expands support to National Institutes of Health via CIO-SP3 GWAC vehicle

ROCKVILLE, Md.--()--DSFederal, an award-winning woman-owned business that develops advanced health IT solutions for federal agencies, has been awarded a Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business contract by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC). Under this government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC), DSFederal will leverage nine years of experience providing health and research IT solutions to further expand its work in support of HHS and the broader federal health IT landscape. This award comes on the heels of its most recent work with NIH to provide a wide range of services to the Office of Extramural Research (OER).

As a prime recipient of the 10-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, DSFederal will provide expertise and innovative IT solutions in 10 Task Areas: IT Services (Biomedical Research, Health Sciences and Healthcare), Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support, Imaging, Outsourcing, IT Operations and Maintenance, Integration Services, Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance, Digital Government, and Enterprise Resource Planning and Software Development.

Projects under this contract include development and operation of large-scale systems that scientists and clinicians depend on in order to achieve their missions.

As an Office of Management and Budget (OMB)-designated executive agent for administering CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business, NITAAC is uniquely positioned to serve both civilian and defense agencies as they seek to fulfill health-related requirements and other mission-critical CIO needs. The CIO-SP3 vehicle offers both a pool of diversely experienced vendors and an efficient structure for acquiring their services at low prices, providing federal agencies with a streamlined procurement method.
