FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kingston Technology Company, Inc., a world leader in memory products and technology solutions, today announced that it has been named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Orange County. The awards program was created in 2009 and is a project of the Orange County Business Journal and Best Companies Group. This county-wide survey and awards program identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Orange County, Calif., benefiting the county's economy, its workforce and businesses.
“We are proud to be recognized by the Orange County Business Journal but even more proud of our upstanding employees who make Kingston a great place to work,” said Larry Gonzales, vice president of Human Resources, Kingston. “A company is only as good as each individual employee and we are dedicated to creating an exemplary work environment that fosters collaboration and continuous improvement. Kingston’s culture is driven by a clearly defined set of values which include respect, loyalty, flexibility and integrity, and is indicative of the company’s longstanding commitment of investing in its employees. As we continue to expand our business, we continue to invest heavily into our employees which has allowed us to build an award-winning culture and attract and retain world-class talent. Awards such as these attest to how having happier, more engaged employees is the key to not only our success but the success of our customers, vendors and partners.”
Kingston Technology takes pride in its contributions to the community, including donations and sponsorship of the local Boys and Girls Clubs, OC Food Bank and the Red Cross among other organizations. Employee benefits include: an open office environment, onsite gym with free fitness classes everyday, immediate matching 401(k) plan and healthcare options including a 100-percent employer paid plan for the employee and eligible dependents. As a token of further appreciation, Kingston hosts a myriad of activities for its employees throughout the year including large outdoor luncheons, health fairs, “Lunch & Learn” medical seminars, financial planning and fun outings that promote bonding and community.
Organizations from across the county entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Orange County. The first part consisted of evaluating each employer's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Orange County and analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final ranking. The ranking of the winning organizations will be released in a special section of this week’s (July 1-7) edition of the Orange County Business Journal.
